I would firstly like to say a huge thank you to Dave, Khato and Remy (also Elejei and Mencia) for making our stay so much better, and all of whom took extra time to ensure our stay was exceptional. Service was great as was the food. Since work began to refurbish this beautiful hotel, it’s amazing. Every Friday in August there is a fireworks display, which I found was much better than any bonfire night display I’ve ever seen! Overall, a brilliant stay, beautiful gardens, beer garden area to rear of hotel, spa, swimming pool and sauna - I believe there is also a beauty salon too. So close to the beach and pier, golden sands and lots of lovely places to see. If you’re not going half board, but just staying for breakfast, there are a lot of beautiful restaurants, especially The Griller, which is literally less than a 30 second walk from the front of the hotel. Definitely staying again. So relaxing, and with Bournemouth being a microclimate, you can pretty much guarantee very good weather. The Royal Bath & Spa Hotel is great for singles, couples, friends, groups etc - children love it too - the age range goes from 1 to 100 tee hee xxx loved it and I highly recommend.

The staff at the hotel were really friendly, especially Dave the Deputy Manager who showed us to our upgraded room. I would like to say a big thank you to all the staff for this surprise as I did mention that my wife is currently undergoing chemotherapy and asked if it was possible to have a sea view room. The hotel had gone out of their way and blew our perception out of the water. The rooms view was outstanding, on the third floor, with exceptional views all over Bournemouth front from East to West. The room was really clean also. Breakfast was great and delicious and we also paid for the Buffet meal one evening which was great value for money and good choice. We also used the Spa which we also thoroughly enjoyed.

The staff was very helpful and always there to help you with any issues that you may have. The hotel has changed for the better since we were here last, which was a good few years ago. We had a very bad experience,we put us into the worst room in the hotel, both my husband and I were covered in flea bites and needed medical treatment when we got home, that put us off going back until this time, if you are going to have pets stay then they need to have had flea treatment before going into rooms.I'm also allergic to cats,so I need to be careful about going anywhere were have been cats staying.

Gladys

Value for money was incredible. My room was large, with everything one needs (apart from a safe). Bathroom was also good. Decor was a bit dated and the temperature may be a bit hot for some but for me, it was just fine. The hotel is located on the seafront next to many restaurants for those who don’t fancy eating at the hotel. There is also a nice little spa with a beautiful pool. It’s an extra £5, which was well worth it in my opinion. I’ll be happy to stay there again if I need to stay in Bournemouth in the future.

Delphine

We enjoyed the friendly staff and super period character of the Hotel. We were given a free upgrade on arrival to a very nice room with garden/sea view. The breakfast was excellent and set us up for the day. Bournemouth is a lovely victorian seaside town and so this original victorian Hotel gives the feel perfectly. The Manager Dave was very welcoming and full of helpful information to make our visit as enjoyable as possible.
